On May 29, 2015, I went to the Butterfly World, located at 3600 West Sample Road, in Coconut Creek, Florida. The photos above were taken from all areas outside, apart from the arthropod/insect section. Since I took more of the insect area, I broke the pages down into 2 parts, where it’s not too many photos to go through, at once. The second part, to the insect section, can be found here.
The experience was wonderful, and was worth going. If you’re thinking about visiting Butterfly World, you should definitely go and experience it for yourself. It was educational, and you’re able to see a wide variety of birds, butterflies, insects, arachnids, plants, flowers, and more! There is also a shop, as well, which is normal, but here you have the ability to purchase a variety of flowers and souvenirs . I want to go back some time soon, since I’ve updated my camera and became better at photography, I would like to compare what type of photos I get now. I think, at the time, I was using a Samsung Galaxy S4.
It was fairly cheap getting inside, as well, and was well worth the price. You get to take your time, and walk around at your own pace, and just enjoy your surroundings. You can interact with the parrots, and can feed them, if you choose to do so.
